Bei der Sonnenuhr am Elfer handelt es sich um die größte begehbare Sonnenuhr im Alpenraum. Sie befindet sich nur wenige Gehminuten von der Bergstation der Elferbahnen entfernt. Die Äquatorialsonnenuhr wird von einem zwei Meter breiten Steg umschlossen, welcher zugleich als Erschließung vom Hang und als einzigartige Aussichtsplattform mit faszinierenden Ausblicken in die Landschaft der Stubaitales dient.
