Aussichtsber mit herrlicher Rundumsicht zwischen Seiffen und Neuhausen

Er ist der Aussichtsberg nahe Olbernhau. Der Schwartenberg zwischen Neuhausen und Seiffen bietet mit seinen 789 m NN einen herrlichen Rundblick auf das mittlere und östliche Erzgebirge. Bei guter Sicht kann man von hier aus nach Norden die Schornsteine in Freiberg und Halsbrücke sehen. Nach Osten gibt es einen Blick auf die Rauschenbachtalsperre. Nach Süden geht der Blick auf den böhmischen Erzgebirgskamm bis hinauf nach Lesná und nach Südwesten erhebt sich der Hirtstein (890 m) bei Satzung. Einen besonderen Blick hat man vom Schwartenberg auf die Orte Seiffen, Neuhausen und Sayda.

Neben dem Gipfelkreuz sind ein Funkturm und natürlich die Schwartenbergbaude, die zur Einkehr einlädt, auf dem Gipfelplateau. Die Schwartenbergbaude mit dem Funkturm geben dem Berg sein charakteristisches Aussehen aus der Ferne, so u.a. vom Anton-Günther-Stein in Olbernhau oder vom "Relhök" in Heidersdorf.
