A viewpoint with a magnificent panoramic view. To the east, the gentle hills of the Alsenztal rise, with the Donnersberg beyond them. To the north, one can see the Rotefels near Bad Kreuznach, and beyond that stretches the Hunsrück. The view to the west sweeps over the so-called "Old World" towards Kusel.
Several circular and long-distance hiking trails run past this viewpoint, including the Palatine Ridge Trail.
