A special attraction is the Hiata hut, a simple shelter in the vineyards. Historically, the Hiata, the guardian of the vineyards, lived or kept watch here while the grapes were ripening. The hut not only served as protection from the weather and for storing tools, but also as a lookout point to guard the vineyards from theft or animals.
