Der Saaleturm ist ein toller Aussichtspunkt.
Der hölzerne Turm im Schleizer Ortsteil Burgk ist der jüngste Aussichtsturm der Region. Er wurde 2011 eingeweiht.

Aus einer Höhe von 43 Metern – nach 192 Stufen – kann man in die herrliche Saale-Gegend und auf Schloss Burgk blicken. Die maximale Sichtweite auf der obersten Plattform beträgt 32 Kilometer. Zwei weitere Plattformen gibt es in 4,50 und 7,50 Metern Höhe.

Direkt am Turm gibt es einen Imbiss mit Freisitz und Toiletten sowie Parkflächen für 130 Fahrzeuge. Der Parkplatz kann als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen z. B. zum Kobersfelsen genutzt werden. Seit diesem Jahr gibt es außerdem einen Stellplatz für ca. 10 Wohnmobile. Der Turm hat jeden Tag von 08:00 bis 21:00 Uhr geöffnet.
