Am Ufer der Saale, nur ein paar Schritte von der Innenstadt entfernt, lädt der komfortable Rastplatz Radler und Wanderer zu einer Pause. Die vorhandenen Radgaragen (mit Lademöglichkeit für E-Bikes) erlauben einen unbeschwerten Stadtbummel, Sitzplätze und Terrassen am Saaleufer laden zu einem Sonnenbad oder einer Brotzeit. Ein überdachter Pavillon bietet Regenschutz.
