Auf dem 479 m hohen Roßkopf befindet sich eine Aussichtskanzel, von der aus ihr einen wunderschönen Blick auf den verschlungenen Verlauf des Altmühltals genießt.

Die sogenannte Hohe Wacht diente in Kriegszeiten als Aussichtspunkt, um drohende Gefahren frühzeitig zu erkennen und die Bevölkerung zu warnen. Heute kann man hier noch Reste eines Wallgrabens entdecken, die von einem Schloss der Kelten stammen.
