The observation deck offers an impressive panoramic view of the river Alte Elbe and the surrounding nature.

Located in the Cracau district in the middle of the Elbe Park, this platform is a popular destination for nature lovers, walkers and photographers. The platform is designed to offer a very good view of the river landscape and the flora and fauna of the surrounding area. Whether for birdwatching, relaxing or enjoying the natural beauty – the Alte Elbe Blick observation deck is a highlight in Magdeburg.

The tram stop “Messegelände/ Elbauenpark” on "Herrenkrugstraße" is located in the immediate vicinity of the viewing platform. Further information on how to get there by public transport is available from MVB.
