Ørnevegen, or Eagle Road, is the steep stretch of road 63 winding up from the Geirangerfjord towards Eidsdal. The road includes 11 hairpin turns and at the topmost turn sits Ørnesvingen Viewpoint.
Ørnesvingen hosts a panoramic view of the Geirangerfjord, with Geiranger village to the left and the Seven Sisters Waterfall to the right.
The viewpoint is a key attraction along the Geiranger - Trollstigen scenic route.

- Geiranger Camping is a simple campground located right at the end of the fjord, on the waterfront.
- Vinje Camping has cabins and campgrounds, 1.5 kilometers up the valley from Geiranger.

Ørnesvingen is alongside road 63, a 7 kilometer drive from Geiranger on the way towards Trollstigen. With its location directly alongside the topmost hairpin turn, it’s practically impossible to miss.
Bus
A local bus runs between Geiranger and Åndalsnes twice daily from late June to late August. The trip includes a short photo stop at Ørnesvingen if there is not too much traffic. The bus also stops at Trollstigen Viewpoint. One-way tickets cost 508 NOK for adults and 256 NOK for children (4-15 years).
