Magical view over the Harz town of Elbingerode to the Brocken massif.
The pavilion is enthroned on a hill on the Kahlenberg mountain and can be seen from almost all directions. In front of the pavilion is a small nature park. A beaten track takes you directly to the observation point and you are rewarded with a great view over the village up to the Brocken mountain. When visibility is good, the Brocken mountain is so close, you can almost touch it. From here you can enjoy wonderful sunsets.
