Das Nobel-Friedenszentrum ist eine norwegische Stiftung, die im Jahr 2000 vom norwegischen Parlament gegründet und 2005 eröffnet wurde.

Anlässlich der 100-jährigen internationalen Souveränität Norwegens wurde das Nobel-Friedenszentrum ins Leben gerufen. Die Stiftung informiert über den Friedensnobelpreis, seine Preisträger und deren Arbeiten sowie über aktuelle Konfliktherde in der Welt und den Einsatz für den Frieden. Seinen Sitz hat das Friedenszentrum im ehemaligen Westbahnhof am Rathausplatz. Das Gebäude beherbergt wechselnde Ausstellungen, Vorträge und Konferenzen werden hier abgehalten.
