Der Merkur wird auch der Große Staufenberg genannt. Man hat eine tolle Sicht auf Gernsbach und Baden-Baden. Von Baden-Baden aus gibt es eine Bergbahn hoch zum Gipfel, wo sich auch eine Gaststätte und ein Aussichtsturm befindet.
