Versteckt auf dem berühmten Berggipfel Kahler Asten erwartet dich auf 830 Metern Höhe die höchste Quelle des Sauerlandes. Ein idyllischer Pfad durch die seltene Hochheide führt dich direkt dorthin.

Beobachte, wie das klare Bergwasser zwischen mächtigen Quarzkeratophyrbrocken entspringt und sanft über kleine Steine rinnt. Gemütliche Sitzbänke laden dich zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein. Tauche deine Hände in das kühle Nass des wasserreichsten Ruhr-Nebenflusses!

Dieser Ort ist dein perfekter Startpunkt fürs Wandern in Winterberg oder für eine Radtour. Hier beginnt die 142 Kilometer lange Lenneroute, die dich durch tiefgrüne Wälder und malerische Wiesen bis nach Hagen führt. Entdecke diesen magischen Ort!

Ein idyllischer Ausflug zur Lennequelle beginnt am Astenturm, den du mit dem Bus oder dem Auto erreichen kannst. Von dort aus folgst du den Schildern, die dich zur Quelle führen. Der Fußweg beträgt ca. 300 m.

Auto: Kostenpflichtige Parkplätze stehen in unmittelbare Nähe zur Verfügung.

ÖPNV: Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist Haltestelle Nordhang (S40), ca. 1 km fußläufig entfernt. Alternativ gibt es auch die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem TaxiBus von der Haltestelle Nordhang bis hoch, zum Kahlen Asten bringen zu lassen.
