This large tower is located in the heart of the valley, and from its summit a 360° view offers a magnificent panorama of the surrounding countryside.
In the heart of the Kaysersberg valley stands the Tour du Faudé, a landmark of the Welche region.
The first tower was built in 1889, but collapsed in 1934 when hit by French shells. A second tower was built at the request of the Club Vosgiens, but also collapsed in 1944 when hit by German shells.
In 1990, the Faudé tower that can be seen today was built by volunteers from the "Les Fadas" association.
You can reach it by hiking. At the top, you'll enjoy a 360° view of the Welche landscape and surrounding area.
