Kukkolankoskella kohtaat Suomen suurimman valjastamattoman kosken kuohut, tutustut alueen pitkäaikaisiin perinteisiin ja koet unohtumattomia aktiviteettielämyksiä.
Kukkolan kylässsä, 15 km Tornion keskustasta pohjoiseen, virtaa ainutlaatuinen ja upea Kukkolankoski. Itse koskella on pituutta 3500 metriä ja putouskorkeutta 13,5 metriä. Upean kosken lisäksi alue on tunnettu perinteikkäästä aittamiljööstä, jossa pääsee seuraamaan mm. käsitöiden valmistusta. Kukkolankoski on tunnettu kalastuksesta ja erityisesti lippoamisesta, perintekkäästä kalastusmenetelmästä, joka juontaa juurensa aina 1200-luvulle.
Directions
Kukkolankoski sijaitsee 15 km Tornion keskustasta pohjoiseen. Koskelle on opasteet E8-tieltä.
