Der Kalvarienberg von Füssen erhebt sich auf einem Hügel gegenüber der Altstadt auf der rechten Seite des Lechs.
Der Füssener Kalvarienberg vereinigt in besonderer Weise Religion, Natur und Kunst. Der Kalvarienberg entstand im 19. Jahrhundert. Initiator war der damalige Stadtpfarrer Johann Baptist Graf (1802 - 1862). Al das Schloss Hohenschwangau renoviert und neu gestaltet wurde, fanden viele Maler Arbeit im Schloss und später bei der Gestaltung der Kapellen.
König Ludwig II., Erbauer von Neuschwanstein, betete am Karfreitag 1886 vor seinem Tod an den 14 Stationen.
Besonders bemerkenswert sind der herrliche Ausblick auf die Füssener Altstadt sowie vom Gipfel auf die Königsschlösser Neuschwanstein und Hohenschwangau und den Schwansee.
