Ca. 150 m vor dem Gipfelkreuz ist nochmals 150 m nördlich talwärts am Waldrand das schönste Panorama von der Käsplatte zu erleben.

Die Rundsicht reicht im Westen von der Donauebene bis zum Riedelstein im Hauptkamm des Bayerischen Waldes.
