The observation pavilion, known as Homberg Temple, has recently been renovated. It offers a good view of Herborn and the surrounding area and is located along hiking trails such as the Lahn-Dill-Bergland Trail, the European Cultural Route Huguenots and Waldensians Trail, and the H6. It was probably built around 1900 by citizens of Herborn and the Beautification Association. Near the Homberg Temple, on the way down to the town, new resting benches and a table at the viewpoint "Schlossblick" invite hikers and walkers to take a break.
