Der 76 Meter hohe Höhbeck hat viel Natur zu bieten. Entdecke ihn einfach selbst und sei gespannt, was der Höhbeck zu bieten hat.
Einer der anziehendsten und sagenumwobensten Plätze ist die sogenannte "Schwedenschanze", deren alte Namen "Hexenberg", "Sonnenberg" oder "Hexentanzplatz" sind. Einige hundert Meter weiter Richtung Vietze befindet sich am Steilufer das Kulturdenkmal "Burgwall".
Auch für den Naturliebhaber und Wanderer ist das Gebiet ideal: Am steilen Ost- und Nordrand des Höhbecks öffnen sich an einigen Stellen immer wieder weite Ausblicke auf den direkt angrenzenden Elbstrom, das Elbtal und die gegenüberliegende Landschaft der Prignitz. Die kieferbestandenen sandigen Flächen am Westhang und das zum teil als Ackerland genutzte Plateau weisen eine Reihe biologisch interessanter Stellen auf. So leben hier z.B. mehrere als ausgesprochene Raritäten geltende Schmetterlingsarten.
