Das Hegaukreuz steht auf dem 661 Meter hohen Sickerberg zwischen Weiterdingen im Hegau und dem Mägdeberg.

Zur Erinnerung an das verdienstvolle Wirken von Landrat Dr. Ludwig Seiterich (1954 - 1968) stifteten im Jahr 1968 die damals 66 Gemeinden des alten Landkreises Konstanz ihm zu Ehren das markante Steinkreuz - eine Landmarke im Hegau.
