Herrlicher Aussichtspunkt mit fantastischer Aussicht.
Die liebevoll gestaltete Anlage gibt Aufschluss über die Vielfältigkeit der Gesteinsarten in der Region.
Spaziergänger, Wanderer und erdgeschichtlich Interessierte werden über die Gesteinsvorkommen rund um die Haslachgemeinde und im Bereich des Hochschwarzwaldes ausführlich informiert. Zahlreiche große Gesteinsbrocken, die entlang des Wanderweges und rund um den Aussichtspunkt aufgestellt wurden, erzählen vieles aus der Erdgeschichte der Hochschwarzwalder Region.
Kleine gesponserte Metall-Schildchen wurden auf die Steine geschraubt. Auf diesen kann man nun lesen, ob es sich um Haslachgranit, Grauwacken, Buntsandstein oder Porphyr handelt. Wer nicht ganz so bewandert in der Gesteinskunde ist oder noch mehr wissen will, dem gibt eine große Informationstafel entsprechende Informationen.
