A beautiful and at the same time striking viewpoint is the place at Oschelskopf. The imposing statue by the Freinsheim artist Kurt Hertz stirred some emotions shortly after its placement and sparked the imagination of some Freinsheim residents. Today, the sculpture is affectionately called "Elvis." The pedestal can be used as a rest and relaxation bench.

The name "Oschelskopf" refers to the entire vineyard of this area. The name originates from the Middle High German word "Osel" or "Usel," which meant an ash or burn site. Because the terrain forms a hill, the term "Kopf" (head) has become established.
