Der Dom zu Arlesheim gilt als Wahrzeichen des Dorfes. Die römisch katholische Pfarrkirche ist ein bedeutendes Kunstwerk barocker Architektur und Innenausstattung. Die Kirche und die Domherrenhäuser waren 1679-1792 Sitz des Domkapitels des Bistums von Basel. Dieses mehrheitlich adlige Gremium war auch der Grund für den imposanten Bau des Doms. Der ursprüngliche Bau des 17. Jahrhunderts war streng und wuchtig mit zurückhaltender Dekoration. Erst die spätbarocke Umgestaltung verlieh dem Dom das heutige Aussehen. Berühmt ist vor allem auch die Silbermannorgel des Arlesheimer Doms. Die Orgel ist die letzte in der Schweiz erhaltende Silbermannorgel und hat somit Seltenheitswert.
