Auf dem Gipfel befindet sich auch ein Rastplatz mit mehreren Sitzgruppen zum verweilen.
Auf dem Gipfel des Brunnenhügel sind schöne Ausblicke zu genießen und die Sitzgruppen laden zur Rast ein.
Übrigens...der Name des Berges hat nichts mit einem Brunnen zu tun. Man kann sich sehr gut vorstellen das auf einem Berggipfel keine Quellen für Brunnen sein können...
Eine Erklärung könnte die Herleitung von Brennhügel (in Mundart Brnnhügel) sein. Von hier könnten in Vorzeiten Rauchsignale in Richtung Grabfeld und Rhön gesendet worden sein.
