Künstlich aufgeschütter Aussichtshügel mit eingelassenem See und spiralförmigen Aufstiegspfad

Der vom niederländischen Künstler Hans van Lunteren gestaltete Aussichtshügel ist ein Produkt der Renaturalisierung des Naturparks Rodebach-Rodebeek. Die Aushebungen der umherliegenden Tonseen wurden zusammengetragen, woraus der Hügel entstand. Die Besonderheit des Hügels, die dem Bovemmeer seinen Namen (niederländisch für "oberer See") gibt, ist der kleine See, der in den Hügel eingelassen ist. Im Inneren des Bovenmeers ist zusätzlich ein Fledermauskeller integriert.
