Die Wanderung führt durch einen Nadelwald, durchsetzt mit trockenen und feuchten Stellen sowie wertvollen Strukturelementen. Beim Auf- oder Abstieg kommt man an einem kleinen „Moos“, einem Niedermoor, vorbei, das von besonderen Tier- und Pflanzenarten bewohnt wird. Auf dem Baichelstein angekommen, kann man das großartige Panorama auf das Herzstück der Wildflusslandschaft genießen und für einen Moment innehalten!
