Rocks near Münchweiler an der Rodalb with picnic area and wonderful view.

At the Münchweiler Höhenwanderweg (Part 1 and 2) lies a rock with a cozy seating area and a wonderful panoramic view over the mountains and forests of the core zone "Source area of the Wieslauter" of the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve, which borders directly to the east. The Wildsaufelsen rock is easiest to reach from the hiking parking lot Sauweiher (free parking) at the end of Konrad-Adenauer-Ring in the community of Münchweiler/Rodalb.

Attention: Within the core zone, the protection regulations of § 7 of the state regulation of the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve must be observed. Entering this core zone is only permitted on marked paths and at your own risk. The paths must also not be left otherwise. Fallen trees and branches must remain in core zones. Standing dead or dying trees will not be felled. Therefore, one must always expect falling branches or toppling trees without prior warning. Paths and trails will no longer be cleared or maintained, even if they may still be included in hiking maps. In emergencies, rescue operations are only possible under limited and difficult conditions.

Aussichtspunkt Wildsaufelsen
This audit report was prepared by: Cheers to the Palatinate
partially accessible

Reasonably usable, but not completely accessible.

-App mitzunehmen.

fully accessible

Completely accessible and fully usable.

partially accessible

Reasonably usable, but not completely accessible.

Info in leichter Sprache:
