Schöner Aussichtsfelsen zwischen Gammertingen und dem Stadtteil Bronnen in einer gepflegten Wachholderheide. Dort haben sie eine herrliche Aussicht auf das mäandernde Laucherttal mit der neu gestalteten Freizeitanlage an der Lauchert. Vom Schwäbischen Albverein wurde im Jahr 2004 ein neues Kreuz auf dem Wendelsteinfelsen aufgestellt. Die Geschichte des Kreuzes geht bis ins Mittelalter zurück. In regelmäßigen Pflegemaßnahmen wird der Wachholderheidehang gepflegt. In einem kleinen Seitental unterhalb des Aussichtspunktes befindet sich die Wendelstein Klinik.
