Am Haschlberg befand sich ein ehemals großer Steinbruch, bei dem ein Damm zum später verbauten Inn gebaut und das Material auf Gleisloren transportiert wurde. Am Steinbruch Haschlberg wurden sehr schöne Nummuliten, Haifischzähne und andere Versteinerungen gefunden. Gleich am oberen Treppenende begrüßt Sie ein Steinblock mit dem für Neubeuern typischen Haberkörndlstein.
Der Haschlberg ist zudem ein wunderbarer Aussichstpunkt, von dem aus Sie an fönigen Tagen bis hin zu den Zentralalpen die Gletscherberge sehen können.
