Enjoy the wonderful view over Sasbachwalden, the Rhine plain and into the Vosges. In good weather even the Strasbourg Cathedral can be seen.
You can reach the viewpoint directly by car along the Bergstraße (L86) on Hörchenberg.
Our tip: All path lead to the “Augenblick”, the most beautiful is the scenic trail to Hörchenberg. The scenic circuit beginning at the Kurhaus “Zum Alde Gott” is one of the popular hiking tours in the region. The forest path leading to the top of the waterfalls includes more than 13 wooden bridges an 225 steps, with an elevation difference of 200 meters. Arrived at the top, it is not far to the viewpoint. Continue past the Straubenhöfmühle mill and then along the Sasbach down into the village and back to the starting point. Duration of the tour, approx. One and a half hours!
