Nördlich der Aare am Hungerberg (oben am Waldrand) befindet sich der Aussichtspunkt Alpenzeiger. Vom Alpenzeiger aus bietet sich ein wunderbarer Blick über die historische Altstadt Aaraus sowie auf die moderne Neustadt. Zudem sind bei guter Sicht auch die Alpen zu sehen und im Westen erblickt man die Ausläufer des Juras.
