In Effeld liegt der Knotenpunkt 25 auf dem Martinusplatz, benannt nach Martin von Tours, dritter Bischof von Tours (Frankreich) - besser bekannt als St. Martin. Anklänge an das kulinarische Frankreich bietet der kleine Ort: Bei knapp 1.200 Einwohnern hält er in hervorragenden (Hotel)-Restaurants Geschmackserlebnisse vielfältiger Art für Sie bereit. Besonders zwischen April und Juni sollte man die Spargelgerichte genießen! Der Platz dient als Parkplatz und Veranstaltungsort. Auch befinden sich dort Rast- und Informationsmöglichkeiten für Radfahrer und Wanderer.
