Die Stadt Eppelheim liegt im Rhein-Neckar-Kreis zwischen Heidelberg und Schwetzingen und umfasst rund 15.000 Einwohner.

Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten zählt unter anderem der Wasserturm, der gleichzeitig auch das Wahrzeichen der Stadt ist. Dieser beherbergt auch das Deutsche Hasenmuseum.

Eppelheim ist durch die Heidelberger Straßenbahnlinie 22 sowie durch die Buslinie 713 an Plankstadt und Schwetzingen an den Öffentlichen Nahverkehr angebunden. Innerhalb Eppelheims gibt es den sogenannten City-Bus.
