Ein bisschen Baldrian, ein wenig Minze, einige Schritte durch das gotische Labyrinth – schon stellt sich Entspannung ein. Der wunderbare Klostergarten St. Johannes ist eine Oase der Ruhe und rüstet den Besucher für die Sehenswürdigkeiten, die es in Steingaden noch zu entdecken gibt: Da ist das imposante Welfenmünster, der romantische Marktplatz und schließlich die Wieskirche: Am frühen Abend, wenn der Ansturm etwas nachgelassen hat und das Licht sanft durch die hohen Fenster scheint, zeigt sich die Rokoko-Pracht in Vollendung. Ein wunderschönes Ende eines tollen Tages.
