Man sieht sofort lebendig vor sich, wie der Wagen durch das Dorf fährt, vollbepackt mit der Aussteuer der Braut und bestaunt von Menschen, die den Wegrand säumen. Der „Bräutlewagen“ ist einer von unzähligen Höhepunkten im Fränkischen Museum, wo fränkische Identität so spannend wie informativ präsentiert wird. Auch am Marktplatz, am romanischen Kreuzgang (Kulisse der alljährlichen Kreuzgangspiele) und in der Stiftskirche ist das historische Flair der Stadt spürbar, die gleichzeitig am Puls der Zeit lebt: Wer am Ende des Tages erfüllt ist von Kultur, Romantik und Landschaftseindrücken, kann sich in der futuristisch gestalteten Bayerischen Spielbank nun ganz entspannt der Moderne widmen …
