Das Flachmoor Paliu da Rubi auf Gebiet der Gemeinde Breil/Brigels befindet sich zwischen dem Flembach und dem Wanderweg in die Val Frisal. Derartige Moore gehen häufig aus der Verlandung eines Sees hervor oder befinden sich zumindest in einer Schwemmebene mit stark verdichtetem Untergrund.
Das Paliu da Rubi enthält die Lebensgemeinschaften Grosseggenried, basisches Kleinseggenried, Hochstaudenried und Quellflur. Es figuriert als Objekt Nr.1038 im Inventar der Flachmoore von regionaler Bedeutung.
