Die Westliche Plattenspitze ist ein 2883 m hoher Berg in der Silvretta an der Grenze zwischen Österreich und der Schweiz. Der Aufstieg erfolgt vom östlich gelegenen Plattenjoch über steiles Fels- und Schrofengelände entlang des felsigen Ostgrates. Vom Gipfel bietet sich ein eindrucksvoller Blick über die Allgäuer und Lechtaler Alpen, die Silvretta, das Rätikon und die Berninagruppe.
