Directions
Approaches:- Makarska – Makar – mountain hut below Vošac 3.45 h
- Makarska –Kotišina Botanical Garden – mountain hut below Vošac 4 h
Most visitors reach the peak of Vošac from the abandoned mountain hut below Vošac, where one branch of the Biokovo Road ends. It takes 30 minutes of hiking to climb from the mountain hut below Vošac in Kapetanov dolac to the Vošac peak itself. Hikers who start their climb to Biokovo on foot from Makarska have two available route options – one across Makar, and one across Kotišina. Both routes are long and hard due to major elevation difference.
