A little "paradise" in chlorophyll, a little "art gallery" en plein air, Sella seduces anyone who approaches her. Whether the visitor belongs to the increasingly large group of hikers, or whether they are confused with that category of people who retain intense emotions, messages and urges from nature and art.
In fact, every guest of the "blessed valley" is attracted by its imperceptible, sublime mixture of apparently hidden elements that only a few places can offer: harmony of spaces, shapes, lights and colors.
Absolute rarities that translate into indelible moments of joy and internal well-being. Some aresatisfied with the open green of the valley floor, tamed by the work of man and punctuated by romantic buildings with a past flavour; others are satisfied with the innate freshness of its wild forests or the solemnity of the plant giants present. There are, then, those who delve into its tremendously beautiful spires by a few reachable and those, on the other hand, who are attracted by existing geological, faunal or botanical treasures. In an elegant nineteenth century, Francesco Ambrosi, an excellent naturalist, sifted it for these biological peculiarities while Vittoria de’ Aganoor sang the graces of the alpine landscape and its flowers that "have rice in the sky"; Giovanni Segantini, a still adolescent painter, drew inspiration for his future, admirable paintings and Alcide De Gasperi, father of Europe, chose Sella as his favourite home.
Nowadays, a qualified exhibition of works of art shaped by sensitive hands with the products of the plant and mineral kingdom is offered to the visitor along gentle paths called ArteNatura. It is a further magical touch that increases the desire to visit it. Seriously, it's time to say ... "hic manebimus optime!".
