A perfect route to spend a day in contact with nature. With a bit of luck, you may see foxes, deer, roe deer and hares.
Val Concei is considered the green lung of the Ledro Valley thanks to the forests that cover it and the peaks that exceed 2000 meters. It consists of three villages - Locca, Enguiso and Lenzumo – and is crossed by a nature trail that runs first through the three towns and then into the woods, on a path recommended for families with children due to the low altitude difference and the splendid view. If you are a runner know that the nature trail, with a dirt bottom, is also suitable for you, while if you love hiking do not miss that of the fertile forest, discovering firs, larches, beeches and mountain orchids and, with a bit of luck, you can spot foxes, deer, roe deer and hares. The valley is crossed by the Assat stream, which descends from Monte Guì and plunges into Massangla and then continues towards Lake Ledro.
STRENGTH
Val Concei is home to the oldest tree in the Ledro Valley, a 30-metre old beech tree.
