This Scottish Munro is one of the few mountains known by its English name.
The view from the 1010 metre-high summit is just breathtaking. The surrounding landscape shows the best of the Scottish Highlands; the rugged mountains tower above moody valleys and high fog is their trusty companion.
The ascent to the Saddle is quite challenging but no less impressive. The path leads over the Forcan Ridge, which is very exposed. You definitely need a head for heights there.
