Pomer vynaloženej námahy k zážitku je v prípade Stráže asi najlepší v celom turčianskom chotári. V minulosti tadiaľto viedla Jantárová cesta, na vrchu bolo postavené hradisko. Zvyšky sa zachovali dodnes. Okrem dych berúcich výhľadov zhora uvidíte aj neupravený meander na rieke Turiec tiahnuci sa popri Kláštorských lúkach. A cestou môžete obdivovať kostol Narodenia Panny Márie. Na svoje si prídu aj bylinkári. Na okolitých pasienkoch rastie množstvo liečivých byliniek, ako repík, čakanka či materina dúška. Túto prechádzku zvládne naozaj každý, stačí prejsť len niekoľko stoviek metrov. Po niekoľkominútovej chôdzi zo samotnej obce ste na vrchole.
