Saustein ist die ortsübliche Bezeichnung einer Felsengruppe über dem Luftkurort St. Englmar im Bayerischen Wald. Die höchste Erhebung ist 955 m. Die offizielle Bezeichnung der Erhebung ist mit "Am Saustall" bezeichnet.
Von den höchsten Felsen -mit Gipfelkreuz- hat man eine schöne Fernsicht zu den Ortsrändern von St. Englmar und zur Donauebene.
Der Rundwanderweg 7 führt um den Saustein mit einem Abstecher zum Gipfel.
