“My absolute favorite summit on the Rigi is the Dossen. The phenomenal panoramic view is worth it every time. I always sit down on the “Fuchsbank” and let my gaze wander over Lake Lucerne, the Bernese Alps and the Mythen and just enjoy! The bench on the Dossen got its name “Fuchsbank” not because of the fox, but because the Fuchs family, who own a vacation home on Rigi Scheidegg, often hiked up the Dossen with their children at sunrise or sunset. The only thing missing was a place to sit. Without further ado, the family started planning and then carried all the equipment to the summit on their backs. Truly a feat of strength. Now I can enjoy the special atmosphere on the third-highest Rigi summit even more, and so can every Rigi guest.” - Rita Baggenstos

The journey is easy with the cog railroad from Arth-Goldau.Directions
Take the Goldau A4 exit and continue to the Arth-Goldau station of the Rigi Railways.Information on directions and parking can be found here.
Parking
Paid parking spaces are available at the Rigi Railway stations.However, we recommend public transport instead of a car: sit back, enjoy and do something good for the environment.
