Einer der bekanntesten Berge des Bayerischen Waldes ist der Pröller mit seinen 1.049m Höhe.
Am Gipfel des Pröller haben Wanderer eine herrliche Aussicht nach Osten auf den Hohen Bogen, Kaitersberg, Osser, Großen Arber bis zum Rachel. Zahlreiche Wanderwege führen auf den Berg. Im Winter bietet der Pröller bei Sankt Englmar ein abwechslungsreiches Skigebiet.
