Am zum Großteil aus Basalt bestehenden Berg, können Sie das älteste Bergbaugebiet im Raum Annaberg - St. Briccius - erkundshaften oder sich von den "Butterfässern" an der Nordseite des Berges begeistern lassen.
Am Gipfel des Pöhlbergs befindet sich das Pöhlberghotel mit Gastwirtschaft und Aussichtsturm.
