The Mittagberg, or Mittag, is a 1451m high peak in the Allgäu Alps. It is located immediately south of Immenstadt and is part of the famous Nagelfluhkette, which stretches from the Immenstadt area to Oberstaufen and Bregenzer Wald.
The Mittag offers a chairlift the 'Mittagbahn' which runs all year round and creates an easy way to access several station stop-offs points up the mountain.
During the winter months, the Mittag is a haven for winter sports, with a multitude of sporting and leisure possibilities including Ski-touring, Free-ride and deep-snow skiing, winter hiking and snow-shoe walking. In the summer months, it is a very popular mountain for hiking with the whole family and boasts a fantastic range of refreshment stop-off points along the ascent.
