Seal: Metal seal and the checkpoint marking KT 17 of the Biokovo Hiking Trail are located on the peak.
Directions
Approaches:- Bartulovići (Gornja Brela) – cave Pozjata – Šćirovac 4 h
- Mountain hut at Lokva – Motika – Sv. Ilija – Šćirovac (route along the ridge) 4.30 h
- Bast – pond Mijaći – Šćirovac 3.30 h
All approaches to Šćirovac are long and hard, making this peak one of the least accessible peaks of the Croatian Hiking Tour. Hikers can reach the peak from three sides. The easiest, but also the longest approach takes hikers from the mountain hut Slobodan Ravlić at Lokva across the peak of Sv. Ilija (1642 m.a.s.l.). The hike from this side takes four hours and a half. This ridge approach is extremely attractive, and it takes hikers across the peak of Sv. Ilija, which is also a checkpoint of the Croatian Hiking Tour. The most demanding route is the climb from Bast, since it is very steep. Conditionally speaking, the climb from Bartulovići is the easiest.
