The Mutzig rock, culminating at an altitude of 1008 m, offers a 360° view over the Bruche valley, as well as the surrounding massifs such as the Donon, the Schneeberg and the Champ du Feu. The remarkable summit formations are often made of poudingues, sandstone conglomerates encrusted with numerous small pebbles. The Mutzig rock owes its name to the Mutzig wood which it dominates. With the Porte de Pierre and the Donon, the Mutzig rock is a must for hiking on the western side of the Bruche valley.
