Situé à 1463 m d'altitude, près de la station Métabief, le Mont d'Or est le plus haut sommet du département du Doubs.

Des pentes douces (côté français) aux hautes falaises (côté suisse), ce sommet jurassien offre un superbe panorama sur les Alpes (300 sommets et les montagnes du Jura) dont une vue imprenable face au Mont-Blanc.

Ce site naturel est un excellent terrain de jeu pour diverses activités en plein air (randonnée, trail, VTT...).
